David Archuleta sound checks at Memphis Music Fair

A great Sunday treat! Honeybee 3cota on the phone from the Delta Fair and Music Festival while David Archuleta does a sound check on stage! He sang “Crush” full out, with some interesting modulations. Now he’s singing “A Little Too Not Over You.” The crowd asked for the National Anthem, but he quite rightly said he didn’t know if it was appropriate for a sound check. This concert is going to be fabulous. I hope everyone there has a great time! I’m so excited for them!

Thanks, Katheryn! There’s nothing like having Tennessee connections. haha! Hearing David’s sound check on the phone was almost like being there.

That is so sweet of 3cota to let you listen in on the sound check. Tweets say he asked for no photos or videos during sound check, hope he doesn’t make the same request during the live performance. I’m sure he knows by now how much we count on these fan videos. I’m going to miss there being a cell cast tonight.

oops! Last time I checked his tweets, I didn’t see that. I hope no one minds terribly. The photo was not close-up, so I thought it was OK to post. Maybe the request came from the venue.

Don’t worry, Minna! I think it’s almost impossible to keep up with tweets regarding David. It’s so gratifying to see how many tweets flood in, and I’m always grateful to see more and more Spanish language tweets posted.

Minja, My comment was not about the photo you posted and the tweet was not from David. It was from fans letting us know there would be no videos of sound check. I’m so glad they were allowed during the show and they are wonderful.
