David is like a sponge, absorbing the cultures and customs of all the places he visits. He is also a true statesman and ambassador, representing his home country with a dignity and grace that belie his young age. It’s a gift to be able to carry those two off simultaneously, and I believe one reason he does it so well is because of the support coming from family and friends. When you are loved and accepted for who you are, it’s so much easier to carry that confidence with you out into the wider world.
