I think David’s personality is such that he’s able to meld with just about any group that he works with. The sound tells it all and the sound was awesome! I noticed a few times (Reno) that he looked back at drummer Eli ah and nodded, as if to say ‘Let’s go!’. He enjoys music so much and doesn’t want the lull between songs to last too long.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I’m amazed you’re able to recall so many details. I’m afraid I would come away from David’s solo concert with my head in a whirl!

I remember initially feeling a little sad when the guys who had performed with David for the Jingle Ball concerts and the AOL Sessions videos would not be the ones accompanying him on his solo tour. David had such great rapport with them, and they really seemed to enjoy working with him. Well, that apprehension has quickly dissipated. David and his new band have jelled. He really seems loose and at ease performing with them. The chemistry is great!

I think the last two sentences you wrote summarize beautifully why we love David, and why he sings for us.
