The beauty of his face appearing through the fog as the stage rises was a moment of divine ecstasy! His voice was a dream, floating, circulating our space and embracing our soul! The wow factor was there and his body language showed intense emotion and control and our eyes never left him for a second.
Tulsa, Oklahoma, September 2008…I was in the fourth row, floor section and haven’t recovered from the experience since. Many debate if this was the best performance, I feel it was the best “Angels” he has ever sung. There was something about that night that spotlights this performance over others. Perhaps it was his intensity, his confidence or, as I like to say, his talent which outshone even our expectations.
David doesn’t need to prove his talent, but he did prove that night the magnitude of his talent was far greater than many gave him credit for and presently he is receiving the adulation he deserves.
