hello honeybees, my name is Anita and I am new to this site. I just wanted to say hello to you all and say that I am happy to be a part of your beehive! 🙂
I have heard a lot of good things about you guys.
I have been a fan of David’s for many years now and I cannot tell you how proud of him I am. I have loved hearing him sing from the first moment I heard him on Star Search and I’ve been wondering what he had been up to ever since. I was totally overjoyed when I saw him walk into the audition room for the first time on American Idol. Although I was disappointed he didn’t win as I thought he should have, I am extremely pleased that not only has he continued to sing but has gotten even better with time. I am also thankful that he is the same sweet humble young man now as he was back all those years ago. I can’t wait to see how far this amazing journey will take him, and I intend on enjoying it right along with him. David for the Win!! 🙂

A sweet Honeybee welcome to you, sweetbee! Love your username. Wow! You have been a David Archuleta fan for a very long time. When I first saw his 2008 AI audition — singing Bryan Adams’ Waiting on the World — I had never seen him before. I can imagine your excitement since you already knew about his great voice. In the years between Star Search and AI, you may have thought of him and wondered if he would ever find success as a singer. Watching this young man grow and develop his many talents will be a joy for all of us fans. Thanks for joining the Honeybees here on dabuzzing. We all look forward to your contributions.

Greetings, Anita! Sorry it’s taken me so long to extend my welcome. I’ve been buzzing all over the internet, and I don’t make it back home to the hive as often as I should.
What a thrill it must be to see the young boy who entranced you on Star Search re-enter the scene as the Voice of a Generation. One thing all Honeybees have in common is that we recognized David’s musical genius from the moment of introduction, and then were further mesmerized by his endearing, humble, and gracious character. America got it wrong on American Idol, but the world is now discovering the wonder that is David Archuleta!
