Just as we’ve come to expect, David was greeted by very enthusiastic fans in Manila, first at the airport and then at the SM Megamall Meet and Greet event. David’s flight arrived on July 17, and the Meet and Greet occurred later the same day. There are lots of videos of the mall appearance posted on YouTube. I found this one to be the most complete and to have the best vantage points. It’s so gratifying to see the outpouring of love and support from David’s Filipino fans, many of whom arrived hours ahead of his scheduled appearance.

He’s taking Asia by storm! I loved when the crowd all screamed “I love you” to David. It’s so heart-warming to see their enthusiasm. Amazing.
Thanks for posting this video, Katheryn. I think that David’s most endearing quality is the sincerity with which he responds to everyone and everything. This comes from the true nature of who he is and can never be lost. He’s such a refreshing voice for the world to experience.
FYI: @3:45 the lady on David’s right says to the crowd, “You know what, if you were here in my place you would see how nice his skin really is.” It took me several listens to figure out what she said that got David so flustered!
