David Archuleta and his mother, Lupe Marie Mayorga, Deseret Book in Orem, UT on June 8, 2010. (Brian Nicholson, El Observador de Utah) OREM, Utah — David Archuleta’s favorite day is Sunday. And for Archuleta, being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a plus.

“My life is in the Lord’s hands,” he says. “Even in the toughest times, I know he is there.”

by Robbie Daw, Idolator.com
1 July 2010

Music Review: David Archuleta, “Something ‘Bout Love”
by Kirsten Coachman for Blogcritics.org
2 July 2010

“Something ‘Bout Love” is very different from any of the music on Archuleta’s 2008 self-titled debut album. The song itself is still very much a pop song, but it also have a dance vibe, which definitely is a nice surprise….
