I’ve been watching this young guy sing his way to stardom ever since he came to my attention via the Idol show. He’s cute alright, but the most curious thing about him is his warm smile that seems to be endlessly beaming out of him. I guess I would be happy too, if I had a voice like that. I wish him well and hope  he has continued success in his career. Oh yes, and don’t forget the hard work of his family, recording engineers, musicians, roadies, vocal coach, fans & friends that helped him get there.

How exciting that David will open tonight for McFly in the UK! He is the opening act and I’m sure will do a great job of winning over the UK and spring to the top of their favorite lists. He was great on Idol, though I heard he may have had a cold. He seemed so happy to be there, smiling from ear to ear!

That’s the way Ryan Seacrest introduced David Archuleta on American Idol last night. For those of you who may not have seen the performance, here it is. Freemantle had it removed from YouTube, but someone has it on Photobucket.

I love the way David changes the phrasing of the song a lot, especially near the end. His band was very good too! Enjoy! Of course, AI didn’t give David enough time and they didn’t promote his tours and album the way they should have. But I had to watch the show just to hear David again LIVE!
