Sunday David attended the Latino Gala in DC to sing the Natinal Anthem which of course was lovely.   He was excited as he got to meet Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony.  Lupe is a hugh fan and he said he loves to meet people who are really well known.  He said you expect them to act high and important when they were really down to earth and cool.  He really respected them for that and hopes he can sing like Marc when he’s older. 

David Archuleta is definately a fan but doesn’t he know that’s exactly how we feel about him.  Celebrities need to take lessons from David in the humility area and sing like Marc when’s he older, he already does and personally I think much better.  He is one of them – a celebrity – and many want to be just like him!!!!!

More mention of David’s tour and it appears for the moment he will be touring solo.  The plan is to cover cities not necesarily covered with the AI tour a will try to hit at least 18-20 cities within a six week time span.  Very interesting concept, I do hope he comes to California and some of the larger cities.  Speculations abound, some feel he should have another artist tour with him to bring in more fans to see him.  The venue being discussed would be small ones that would hold 1000 – 2000 seats, definitely a sell out.  Time frame when he would start touring has not been decided but I will definitely be on top of the announcement because seats will sell out fast and plane reservations will need to be made.  I don’t want to miss out on this exciting experience seeing David Archuleta!!!!!!!!

Oh I love this! I just saw the ad for the new movie “New in Town” and guess what song was playing? Yes! It was “Crush” so I hope that means that David’s song will be in the movie. I bet this movie will win an award because I know all of David’s fans will go see it. I can’t wait. I haven’t been to the movies in ages but I will go to this movie!
