Hard Rock performance tonight in NYC a stunner!!!!!! Well, he danced, joked, talked a lot and sang not only with music but also with his keyboard acting up. Stopped his performance and said, “just a second”, while trying to fix the foot pedal. So cute, he can do anything and it’s just so adorable. Sang a cappella, wished someone Happy Birthday and laughed, smiled and and thanked his fans. He asked his fans what song he should sing and just brought the house down. Fans shouting song choices and he tries to decide while others yelling out marriage proposals. He is just perfect, especially when he does his little dance while they were adjusting his music. So relaxed and having fun with his fans he has such control, confidence and command of his stage. WOW! So impressed with his interaction with the audience. A Star is Born!

Build-A-Bear mall based stores that provides stuffed animals for children has given away more than 20 Million to charitable organizations. This year they are going to release their own song, recorded over the year by several recording artists. The Song is entitled “Lets Talk About Love.” and the first Artist to record and release this song will be our own David Archuleta. It’s not known if David has already recorded “Lets Talk About Love” but it should be out before the summer. Such a buzy fellow. Congratulations to David on another great contribution to another great charity.

Last weekend David could have stayed at home to rest up for the busy inaugural event ahead, but he chose to “Make a Wish” come true for a little girl. Now that’s My Idol!

Quoting from the San Diego Union Tribune:

Mission Hills resident Maddie Lovern, 13, hardly expected to run into “American Idol” heartthrob David Archuleta while seeing a friend at Rady Children’s Hospital last Saturday.

The singer/songwriter, from Utah, was visiting a young patient with a life-threatening illness at the request of the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Maddie, with her mom, Michelle, and brother, Drew, bumped into Archuleta as he left the hospital. So Archuleta graciously posed with Maddie for an impromptu photo on her mom’s cell phone.

Local Make-a-Wish head Chris Sichel said Archuleta was humble and generous and didn’t hesitate to re-arrange his schedule and immediately fly in from Utah to grant the child’s wish. “I didn’t know much about him before, but I’m a big fan now,” Sichel says.

Have you heard? There is word going ’round that David Archuleta may release a new song soon. It’s unknown whether the song has already been recorded or is in the works. My guess is that the song is a Spanish version of “Crush”, which I know David has recorded. He has spoken about the difficulty of finding the right Spanish translation for the word ‘crush’. He certainly is one of the hardest working teens I have ever known!

Just wanted to thank Rika for making that video of David’s photoshoots… but especially because she made it to the song of “Somebody Out There”. I would love to hear David sing this… wait maybe I should say I would love to SEE David sing this song. I wish it could be a video too. Maybe someday he will do that. So, Thanks, Rika… thanks a bunch because I think we need to get that song “out there” more! haha.
