(Sorry about the corny title but I couldn’t really think of anything else  (: )  Anyway, I logged on to my local radio station (WLKT in Lexington, KY) website this morning to place a song request for “Crush” and they had posted a video interview of David.  As usual, David did a great job and is so cute!!!   Fans video-taped questions to ask David and then at the end of the interview, it has some of the fans “trying” to sing “Crush”.  Here’s the link www.wlkt.com/cc-common/idol/ .   There is also a dread poll between the two David’s asking which one you like better.  (Why does the media do this???)  Anyway, be sure to cast your vote.  Right now, our David is in the lead!!!!   WooHoo!!!!

As previously mentioned  I attended the private performance at the Tree Lighting Ceremony in Hollywood Saturday night.  His performance was outstanding as you are all aware of since many have posted on youtube.  I did post O Holy Night on youtube as it was a closeup of him singing.  Just basically a head shot as I was so close chest up against stage I could not focus him all in.  It turned out to be quite something to watch as his facial expression are so prominent you are not distracted by anything else.  I am not very savvy about giving you the post here but on my channel youtube pikepss or just type in the song title.  I keep watching it over and over again and I filmed it.  Have not seen one so close before so its quite lovely to see.  He sang seven songs so now I don’t feel cheated by not attending the Jingle Ball in sacramento.  He is just so good there are not words to adequately describe his voice.  He takes you to that special place he sings from and gentley brings you back mesmerized.  A beautiful night for everyone.

I just had to say that David is awesome in the new pictures. That’s it… I know most of you have seen them but they are posted on FOD if you haven’t. He is growing up right before our eyes! But, he still doesn’t feel like he should be 18. haha.

I cannot wait for David to make a CD of Christmas songs!  From the few that I have heard him sing, like  “O Holy Night”,  “Mary Did You Know?” and “Silent Night”….I have been so blown away by the beautiful and very powerful way David sings these songs!  He moves me to the point of tears every time, especially with these spiritual songs.  Can you imagine a whole album of David singing more songs of the season?! I am getting goose bumps just thinking about it!  He truly has the most beautiful voice of our time and I think he is in the same caliber as the Nat King Cole’s and Bing Crosby’s of days gone by.  David’s voice is so pure and smooth,  I can listen to it all day!!!   He is that special and then some!!!  🙂 Happy Holidays all, Katie aka BigArchieFan

 Thanks to Youtube (yay!), we have had the opportunity to view all of David’s performances at the Jingle Balls, Osmond show and Tree lighting event, not to mention the many photos of David that have been gathered and posted all over the web! 

Also, it was the most delightful early Christmas gift to hear him sing ‘O Holy Night’ and ‘Silent Night’!!  What a holiday treat for all David Archuleta fans !
