David Archuleta is the “New Cool”, someone who is soooo cool that he’s HOT. Watch his arrival at the airport in Malaysia the other day!

I have had the honor and pleasure of meeting David four times and each time, I too wanted to run up to him screaming my head off. I held back because it has been many years since I was a teen and it would scare the life out of the poor guy to see me in that frenzied state. But these teens look perfectly normal to me! And oh my, am I happy to see their freedom of expression! It’s a beautiful thing.

Has anyone noticed how David’s career is similiar to the opening buds of blooming flowers in Spring.  Each one is unique and beautiful and brings us such pleasure.  Every bud that waits to open becomes a beautiful flower.  David’s interviews, concerts, blogs and pictures remind me of the miracles God has created and David has been one of the greatest.  Enjoy a new beginning this Spring with all the joy and happiness David will provide.

I can’t say WHO, but someone has come very close to the Secret Phrase in a recent post. Remember the first clue: “this word was inspired by the meaning of April.”

Well Honeybees after seeing David in Idaho for two concerts and in SLC Utah for a fabulous ending to his first solo tour and my niece’s wedding, I am jet lagged and resting for my next adventure.  Missed everyone but have been busy getting ready for London, England.  My friend and I have booked a trip to see David open for McFly in London and Portsmouth.  Leaving in just a couple of weeks and can’t wait to see England again and of course David.  It has been a few years since I’ve been back and David makes it even more appealing.  So happy to hear he is having a marvelous time in Asia and I am sure the UK will embrace him eagerly. 

Also, anyone who wants to get together in Del Mar at the Fairgrounds for David’s concert let me know as a few of us are getting together.  I am going down on Friday to meet my nephew for lunch/dinner and staying overnight Friday and Saturday.  There are 6 of us that are meeting so far and about 3 or 4 more friends trying to make the concert as well.  Please feel free to contact me and we can all party together. 

Just one more thing, David is getting taller and taller by the minute and better and better by the second.  What a fantastic talented young man!  Isn’t it great being a fan of David Archuleta!!  We get so much in return, I hope someday he realizes how much a part of our lives he’s become!!!  Bravo David!!!

We Honeybees have been busy buzzing about David Archuleta. Today I thought I would show all of us what the buzz actually looks like. This is an informal representation of the words we have used on DA Buzzing to talk about David. I combed through many posts to find the words most often used, counted them, and created this image based on the number of times each word was used. It is not mathematically exact because I did not choose all the words we have written. But it is a colorful snapshot of the most common words on this blog.

This little project gave me pause. If lots of people were writing about me, what words would be in my tag cloud? What would your tag cloud say about you? From now on, I might go through each day imagining a tag cloud over my head.
