Yes! I couldn’t resist. My birthday is on the 26th of December…so close to David’s that I had to have his picture on my cake. My friends at work had an early birthday party for me with this beautiful tiered cake. I wanted to show you guys how I included David on my birthday since his is two days after mine. Look for the baby photo of me on the left and a photo of David on the right. The little flags have the date of our births. I wonder if David has ever had a Happy Birthday / Merry Christmas cake.

In the mist of shopping, wrapping, ordering food, mailing cards, calling in  requests for CRUSH & ALTNOY, voting, baking, scheduling parties and RSVP’ing there is a pause and I laugh because David says in an interview….”holding hands is weird”, and he “doesn’t want to be too easy to flirt with”.  He doesn’t know just how special and sweet that was to my ears!

After all is said and done about how truly gifted he is…..he is still 18 years old and the most lovable teenager this side of Heaven.  The joy I receive from this young man is enormous.  Thank you David for my Christmas Gift…YOU!  I truly hope one day I can tell you so in person!  Happy Birthday and Happy Holidays!

I just came across this howto page. You can learn how to line dance “Crush”. When I first heard “Crush”, I thought someone should create a special dance for it and start a new dance craze.

In the music video for ALTNOY, David changes the lyrics. “Should be strong” becomes “The chick is gone”. I love the way he is looking at the camera when he sings the oohs. Those are very emotion-packed moments in the video. I love this video! David is going to have fun with this song in his live performances. Watch it again and again!

I can’t believe that it’s time for the last Jingle Jam/Ball already! Time has flown so quickly since I’ve been following David.  I feel like my life is going as fast as his career path. I feel so blessed to have watched these past few weeks as David has been creating a new world for himself. I pray blessings for him every day and ask that God will give him wisdom and strength. 

It’s a bit of a ledge feeling now, waiting to hear what the next thing will be. I’m so grateful for the people I’ve befriended on this journey who will be waiting with me and keeping me company!
