The Song of the Week

SongsI have been listening to a song on ‘replay’ in the car, as I drive to and from work daily. Because David’s voice is so breathtakingly beautiful on this song, I have been touched deeply by this familiar carol. It is from David Archuleta’s new Christmas CD, Christmas from the Heart. As a child growing up, I had heard this carol sung many times, but I was never drawn to it the way I have been with David’s rendition. Hearing David sing this song makes it seem like I have only now heard it for the first time. He has an incredible way of doing that…singing a song so beautifully and with his own original flair, that you would swear it was the first time you had ever experienced the pleasure of listening to it!

This song is a traditional Christmas carol that I have sung in church many times over the years. When I was a child, I would sing it during the holiday season as I went caroling with friends throughout the neighborhood. But until recently I had never really felt the song the way I have since hearing David’s version. It has since become one of my favorites!

The Song of the Week is…

“What Child Is This?”

“What Child Is This?” is a popular ‘Christmas carol,’ also known as “Greensleeves.”  It was written in 1865 by William Chatterton Dix. Dix was a popular hymn writer of his time, who also wrote carols. The word ‘carol’ or ‘carole’ is a medieval word of French and Anglo-Norman origin, believed to mean a ‘dance song’ or ‘circle dance’  which was accompanied by singing.

Carols expressed religious joy and were often associated with the Christmas season. During the 14th century carols became a popular religious song form. The theme often revolved around the Christ child, the Virgin Mary, or a saint. Sometimes the blending of two languages, such as English and Latin, were incorporated into the carol.  By the 15th century the carol was considered to be a form of ‘art’ music.  During this time, elaborate arrangements of these songs were made. They became an important contribution to English medieval music. By the 16th century, the popularity of carols began to die down and they almost disappeared entirely.  Fortunately, a revival of the carol began by the middle of the 18th century.  Most of the carols we have come to enjoy today, like “What Child Is This?”,  were written during this time period.

It has been reported that Dix wrote the carol “What Child Is This?” in 1865 at the age of 29, while he was recovering from a sudden near-fatal illness and confined to bed rest for several months. The three verses were written and harmonized with the famous melody, “Greensleeves”. That melody was a traditional popular English melody that had been used in many texts during the 14th century. The carol “What Child Is This?” was first published in Christmas Carols New and Old around 1867. Here are the original lyrics that William Dix wrote for “What Child Is This?”.

1. What Child is this who, laid to rest
On Mary’s lap is sleeping?
Whom Angels greet with anthems sweet,
While shepherds watch are keeping?

This, this is Christ the King,
Whom shepherds guard and Angels sing;
Haste, haste, to bring Him laud,
The Babe, the Son of Mary.

2. Why lies He in such mean estate,
Where ox and ass are feeding?
Good Christians, fear, for sinners here
The silent Word is pleading.

Nails, spear shall pierce Him through,
The cross be borne for me, for you.
Hail, hail the Word made flesh,
The Babe, the Son of Mary.

3. So bring Him incense, gold and myrrh,
Come peasant, king to own Him;
The King of kings salvation brings,
Let loving hearts enthrone Him.

Raise, raise a song on high,
The virgin sings her lullaby.
Joy, joy for Christ is born,
The Babe, the Son of Mary.

The song “What Child Is This?” has been covered by multiple artists over time, but David Archuleta’s version, in my opinion, is the most beautiful.

David Archuleta singing “What Child Is This?” from his recently released Christmas from the Heart:

“What Child Is This?”

What child is this, who, laid to rest,
On Mary’s lap is sleeping?
Whom angels greet with anthems sweet
While shepherds watch are keeping?

This, this is Christ the king,
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing;
Haste, haste to bring Him laud,
The babe, the son of Mary!

Why lies He in such mean estate
Where ox and mule are feeding?
Good Christians, fear; for sinners here
The silent Word is pleading.

This, this is Christ the king,
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing;
Haste, haste to bring Him laud,
The babe, the son of Mary!

So bring Him incense, gold, and myrrh;
Come, peasant, king, to own Him.
The King of kings salvation brings;
Let loving hearts enthrone Him.

pikepss Weekly on David Archuleta

Great Day in the Morning to all Honeybees and Fans!

The countdown is nine (9) more days before David Archuleta’s Holiday Tour begins. Personally I am on cloud “9” Haha! I will be attending five concerts: Salt Lake City, Utah, both nights, Santa Rosa and Anaheim, California, and Rexburg, Idaho. All VIP Meet & Greets. The suitcases are packed and ready to go. The camera is loaded and my excitement is brimming over. Looking forward to seeing many of you at the concerts!

David continues to be a busy “Bee” this week and provided us with a great many interviews, twitters, voice messages and songwriting updates. In Los Angeles this week David mentioned Trader Joe’s, the glorious store—they should change their name now—attended concerts and experienced the infamous LA traffic, which he stated they are spending a lot of time together! HaHa! Yes, David since I live here I know how you feel. But it does provide us time to finish your entire Christmas from the Heart album before our next stop.

But the most exciting moment this week was the ANNIVERSARY OF DAVID’S ALBUM on November 11, 2009. One year later and we are honoring his hard work and remembering we all knew what a Star he was going to be. We are now on the edge of our seats because of a second album David is working on that will express his personality and feelings. How exciting another anniversary in the future!!!

May all of you have a happy and glorious week!

cnn-289x300 CNN INTERVIEWS DAVID ARCHULETA – David Delivers Christmas from the Heart

(CNN) — Even though he has only one album under his belt, David Archuleta doesn’t think it is at all too soon to release a collection of Christmas music. “I feel like you have to take advantage of the opportunities that you are given at the time,” said Archuleta, 18, the runner-up on season seven of American Idol.”

“I don’t know how long I will be in the position with music that I am…I just felt like while people are enjoying what I am doing and recognizing the work I am doing, it probably is a good time to do it.”

Christmas from the Heart features tunes that are near and dear to the teen, who said he loves the holidays because they allow him to get together with family and friends.

He recently spoke with CNN about his new album, branching out into songwriting and why he enjoys Christmas in Vegas.

CNN: This is only your second studio album, so why Christmas music?

David Archuleta: Christmas music is something I’ve always enjoyed. The holiday season is pretty much a favorite time of the year because of what it’s all about and what it gets people thinking about.

That music, for me, is timeless and something people can always enjoy. I always sing during Christmastime, so why not do a Christmas album? It was a really great project for me to do because it is such a special time and season for me.

CNN: What does Christmas mean to you?

Archuleta: For me, it’s about your memories with your family, that whole holiday season. It’s such a happy and memorable time, so for me, it was all about the memories and remembering. And that’s what I wanted to try and get across with the album.

It’s mostly traditional songs, but there is one original song that I helped to write, called “Melodies of Christmas.” It talks about how the melodies help to bring back the fun memories people have.

CNN: What sets your Christmas album apart from the multitudes that are already out there?

Archuleta: I tried to give the music a reverence. We could have gone more radio friendly because I am in the more pop vein of music, but I wanted to make sure when people listened to it I got them thinking about what the songs were talking about.

Whether it was through the vocals or the arrangement, I wanted people to connect with the songs emotionally.

CNN: Do you have a favorite Christmas song?

Archuleta: I don’t really have a favorite, but I have always loved “O Holy Night.” It’s such a powerful one. There is also one on the album called “Pat-a-Pan” that I really like that’s a more fun one that people aren’t as familiar with. I sing the beginning in French, and I have never sung in French before.

CNN: What are you hoping to get in your stocking this Christmas?

Archuleta: I don’t know. I have never been huge into presents. For me, the holiday has always been about spending time with my friends and family.

That quality time is so important to me, especially now, because I don’t get to do it as much as I used to and I took it for granted so much when I was always around them. Now, it’s such a special time when I am able to hang out with them and be around them.

Last year, we went to Las Vegas together [for Christmas] and we spent time together just watching movies and playing games and stuff. It was really nice.

CNN: Are you working on another album?

Archuleta: I am. It’s been really busy, but it’s been really great because I am happy to be able to do all of this. … Right now, I am writing for the next pop album, and it is so much fun being able to be involved in the writing.

Being able to tell my story, and be more expressive with the music this time, means more of my personality will be in the music, not just the lyrics, but also the melody. People will be able to get where I am coming from with these songs.

Christmas from the Heart by David Archuleta

By Jillian, East Grand Rapids, MI

Untitled-1 David Archuleta’s new album, Christmas from the Heart, is filled with entrancing, traditional Christmas carols, as well as captivating foreign carols in other languages.

When I first saw the album art, I wasn’t crazy about it. The album cover is very boring and bland- a light white background, a picture of David Archuleta and some colored snowflakes. The title of his album is written in a light evergreen color in a calligraphy-type font. It wasn’t very original or impressive to me but after listening to the first couple of songs, my opinion changed completely.

The album opens with a beautiful rendition of “Joy To The World”. The first thirty seconds weren’t anything special but near the end of the song, Archuleta really kicked out many jaw-dropping riffs and amazing, enticing high notes. Archuleta’s mature voice is suited unbelievably well to sing the traditional carols on his album. I was hooked.

This album features many traditional songs as well as a few contemporary songs and foreign jingles. Songs like “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas (duet with Charice Pemengco)”, “Melodies of Christmas”, and “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” offer a unique more upbeat spin to the album. Songs like “Riu Riu Chiu” and “Pat-a-pan” blend in perfectly with the other traditional carols to create an elegant diverse mix of Christmas tunes.

Listening to him sing traditional carols like “O Holy Night” and “Silent Night” made the butterflies in my stomach stir and gave my whole body chills of shock and joy. Archuleta’s voice really brings these normally flat carols to life and makes you crave to play them on repeat.

Christmas From The Heart is the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season! It’s the perfect gift for music or Christmas lovers of any age. Archuleta’s new CD can bring Christmas spirit to any home. It will have your ready to rock around the Christmas tree and sing along with this new spin on traditional songs.

The Daily Universe

David Archuleta: From Idol to Touring
By Tyler Weaver- Wed, 11/11/2009 – 00:00

With the Christmas season fast approaching, David Archuleta took some time out of his schedule to talk to The Daily Universe about his newly released holiday album, Christmas from the Heart, his rise in the pop world and his upcoming tour, which kicks off in Salt Lake City later this month.

“It’s always fun to perform back at home in Utah and be able to give back to them, the people who have given me so much in my life,” Archuleta said. “I am the way I am because of everyone in Utah.”

During this tour, which is largely in support of his holiday album, he’ll be traveling across the country through Dec. 20. The recording of his release, which features one original song, “Memories of Christmas,” provided the opportunity for Archuleta to let listeners in on his personal beliefs.

“What I want to do with this album is share my testimony of this music and I hope that you can feel what I am trying to say in this and why it’s so important for me to sing about this,” Archuleta said. “You can always go more poppy and radio friendly with the music, and that’s easy to do and more appealing in the pop world I’m in right now, but I want to make sure it’s reverent and sacred.”

Growing up in a Latter-day Saint home, Archuleta’s faith is pronounced throughout the 13-song album.

“Christmas music is something that everyone relates to and has a connection to,” Archuleta said. “It’s my way of saying this is something really important to me and I really want to share it with people, about Christ and His birth.”

His tour will feature some of the pop hits that helped Archuleta rise out of his American Idol-bred stardom, but fans should expect a Christmas-laden set list.

“What I did with the album I want to do with the shows too and kind of lead people with that spirit of Christmas and the spirit of the music,” Archuleta said. “It’ll be fun.”

Considering all that has been handed to him over the last few years, Archuleta has received his fame graciously. The exposure received from Idol, he describes, was largely unexpected.

“When I went to [American Idol] audition I wasn’t expecting to be on tour and making albums a year later,” Archuleta said. “I was just thinking, ‘I guess I’ll go audition to see what it’s like.’ It’s crazy now, working on a third album; I never thought that would happen.”

Although he grew up performing and even appeared on several episodes of Star Search at age 12, Archuleta wasn’t always sure about his future as a musician.

“I seriously would always joke with my friends, ‘You guys are all going to be geniuses; you’re all so smart and I’ll be behind McDonald’s trying to sing for my food,’” he said.

Until his touring begins at the end of the month, Archuleta is spending time in Los Angeles writing for his forthcoming album. He described the process as more personal and self-involved in comparison to his first self-titled release.

“I feel like people will know me a little better,” Archuleta said. “It will be so cool to have songs that came from me and from my own experiences. I think that’s so cool being able to share that in my music.”

As Archuleta has become a successful pop artist worldwide, he continues to push forward and expand his fan-base with each album.

“It’s been a great experience for me because it’s kind of pushed me to go beyond what I thought were my limits,” Archuleta said. “It’s refreshing to know because sometimes you don’t believe in yourself as much. You don’t believe in your potential as much as other people do. It’s cool for me because I feel like, I guess the Lord definitely believed in me more than I did. That’s been the biggest lesson for me in all of this is trusting in Him. Because even though it’s like, ‘Well I don’t see how I can do that,’ I guess because I’ve been given this opportunity, I guess someone up there believes in me and someone up there trusts in me. The fact that that person can trust me, as powerful as He is, I guess I can do it. That in itself is motivating.”

David’s Blog

Hello to all! I’m sorry I haven’t made a blog for a while. I’ve been in the studio a lot doing writing and recording, and it’s been a lot of fun! Last week I got to work with Matt Squire and Victoria Horn, and this week I’ve been working with Daniel Bedingfield and Kina Grannis. They’re all really great and talented people! I can’t wait for you all to hear the songs that we’ve been working on 🙂 heheh. But I’ve been loving the writing sessions!

While I’ve been working in LA, I’ve gotten to spend time with my aunt! It’s been a lot of fun getting to spend time with her and let her be a part of all of the things I’ve been doing down here. I haven’t gotten to spend this much time with her for years, so it’s always great to be with family and have good times. It’s been a hectic, busy week but we still manage to do some fun things here and there.

All right, so Monday while we were writing, Kina told me she was going to the Imogen Heap concert. I just about passed out! I have been wanting to see Imogen Heap for soooo long and she’s one of my favorite musicians! So I got tickets for me and my aunt and we got to go to Imogen’s show. It was AMAZING! it was fun to see how nervous Imogen was and she was just so genuine and quirky. And then her music and the way she loops cool sounds is incredible. I couldn’t get enough of it, and she kept going until midnight lol. I was exhausted but I was so happy to watch her. But anyway, you can never get enough of Imogen but you’ve probably had enough of my blabbing lol.

That’s all I have for right now! More writing today so I better head off. There are some fun things coming up this week that I’ll talk to you about next time! But until then I’ll talk to you later!

Song for the day: The Moment I Said It – Imogen Heap
This song really stood out to me when she performed it at the concert. SO good!

David Archuleta LIVE @ Atlantic City (Demi Lovato – David Archuleta Summer Tour) By RandomizeME

So, the last stop of the Demi Lovato – David Archuleta Summer Tour was at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City. I never got the chance to watch David on tour, and given my renewed interest in David’s career, I really appreciated it when an Archuleta fan e-mailed me a link to download a fan-made live recording of David at Atlantic City (the recording is credited to someone called ‘STARRYNITES01′ – so thank you!).

Set List:

TOUCH MY HAND
WAITING FOR YESTERDAY
MY HANDS
SOMEBODY OUT THERE
WORKS FOR ME
A LITTLE TOO NOT OVER YOU
DON’T LET GO
YOUR EYES DON’T LIE
APOLOGIZE
ZERO GRAVITY
CRUSH

It would be unfair to judge a live performance based on a recording (where the quality isn’t the best), but I have to say that David seems very comfortable and in his element here (and very happy! in the hop-skip-jump way) – like in his audience banter – none of that OT aww-shucks stuff that really irritated me way back when he was on my tv. He’s still dorky and pokes fun at himself, but it kinda works this time (maybe because I don’t see him?). Guess he grew up a lot this past year. And even on a fan-recording, he sounds really great live, doesn’t he? Many of the songs are so-so for me though (the reason I don’t really listen to his CD which I bought), I really hope he ends up with better quality song-writing on his next album. The only song I really like on his set-list is ‘Zero Gravity’ (and unfortunately, the recording quality drops for this song) and that somehow didn’t make the cut on his cd – sheesh Jive. Big fail. (I also kinda like ‘Your Eyes Don’t Lie’ and of course, ‘Crush’ has always been a catchy pop song)

DAVID ARCHULETA NEXT RELEASE – Pynk Celebrity
David Archuleta says he has no idea when his next album is coming out but he loves the songs he’s got so far. He said, “I don’t think songs have to be like these super number-one-smash-hit-sounding songs, because I think it’s more important that it’s like ‘Hey! This is coming out of me. This is something I connect with… that I like to sing.’”

David is also thankful he’s been able to take his time and not rush to release an album as was the case with his self-titled album pushed out after American Idol. David said it’s, “kinda nice.”

Now this guy’s thinking straight. We will wait patiently David… it’ll be worth it! XO

Watch concerts free online at BillboardLive.com
(AP) – 8 hours ago

LOS ANGELES — A new Web site allows music lovers to watch concerts for free online, choosing from five different camera angles as they watch.

BillboardLive.com says its new concert-viewing Web site offers visitors different perspectives on performances by Alicia Keys, Usher, David Archuleta, Daughtry and other artists yet to be announced.

Music fans can select from five different views as they take in full concerts by these artists, focusing solely on the drummer or guitarist if they choose.

The site also allows visitors to use Twitter or Facebook during the Webcast without leaving the show. The application is also available on Apple’s iPhone. New concerts will be added through February.

Founder Michael Williams says the site is “reconnecting artists with their fans, for free.”

Spotted:  David Archuleta satisfies his hunger
by MTV News in Music

Former American Idol contestant David Archuleta didn’t win the season he competed (that honor went to erstwhile Our Lady Peace fan David Cook), but in many ways it’s worked out better for Archie. He has never had to deal with the pressure or scrutiny of being the winner, but there is still plenty of enthusiasm surrounding everything he works on (including his recently-released Christmas album). Plus, he’s not hounded by photographers all that often. Really, it’s the best kind of fame. Still, it was nice to see him show up in the paparazzi viewfinders yesterday, as Archuleta was spotted leaving high-end Los Angeles eatery Il Pastaio with singer and songwriter Kina Grannis.

David Archuleta’s fan base is as diverse as the global village itself. But there seem to be a few distinct categories developing. Which one (or two or three) best describes you? Hard to decide?

Total Fangirl/Boy – Squeezes over every picture, word, event and song. A feeler. Totally into the sentiment of the music, the artistry, the celebrity, the moment. Everything David is wonderful 24/7. Knows all the websites to get up-to-the-minute info on all things David. Attends as many VIPs, concerts, and national anthem gigs as possible. A mosh veteran. A direct tweet from David is Nirvana. Has a hard-drive full of David photos and videos and screen caps. Even voted in the “Favourite David Archuleta Poll” poll.

The Voice – Loves, loves, loves the Voice. The Voice is front and centre in all comments and thoughts; gets lost in the voice when listening to songs.

The Forecaster – Tries to see into the future of David’s career and predict what is going to happen down the road; bases speculation on personal past life experience. assumptions and opinions. Magic 8 Ball optional.

The Interpreter – Gives opinions about past and present events; may use available facts and speculates on the who, what, when, where and/or why of past/present events based on past life experience, assumptions and opinions. Has a future at the U.N.

The Tittle-Tattler – Main focus is the world of celebrity; likes celebrity media and gossip. Likes the thrill of the drama of it all. Loves to stir up controversy. Sees all aspects of David’s life as topics for discussion since he is a Celebrity. Wishes David had been adopted by Jon and Kate Plus Eight so his life could be a reality show.

The Defender – A cyberworld media watchdog. Routinely responds to any negative review or hint of criticism of David, either in online editorials, blogs, emails, letters, or comments, as if it were a personal slight. ”Nobody puts bb in a corner!”

The One: Dreams of being David’s soul mate 24/7. Practices signing “ Archuleta” during class. An incurable romantic. Wonders what Danish/Honduran specialties to serve on The Big Day. Has Target’s Bridal Registry on speed dial.

The Reporter – Just the facts; gives us straight information, no varnish, no spin. May upload pictures, videos of events and/or mp3s on the net for viewing. Qualified to teach advanced cyber-detective training sessions for FBI, Scotland Yard or Interpol.

The Parent – Feels very maternal/paternal. Worries about what David eats, when he rests and, in general, his health and welfare. Sends him warm hats, scarves and, occasionally, lunch money.

The What If-er – Always looks at the dark side of events first and foremost. Worries about everything that might be or what currently is and why it shouldn’t be that way. Tends to see the glass as half-empty … or just empty.

Music Fan – Bought David’s music because they “liked/loved” the song. Buys different types of music and not involved in the day-to-day minutiae of the diehard David Fan. Goes to David’s concerts just as they would any concert. This person is not likely here reading this.

I must confess I fall into several of the above!!!!

David is now following Brazilian author Paul Coelho. Is that the first non-music person he is following? Jason Mraz (or really, his joyologist) re-tweeted an inspirational quote by Coelho earlier in the day. He has written the well-known book, The Alchemist, as well as many others. *adds to book list*

Comparing Angels – David Archuleta vs Josh Groban

14 November 2009

Feeling nostalgic this evening, I was at YouTube checking out some songs of David from last year to the present, comparing his voice range and many of the beautiful songs he has given us through American Idol and from his two albums. It occurred to me that so often he is compared to many other singers with many more years of experience and numerous albums; it does not seem fair. Fair it may not be, but still these comparisons are worth a look. Under the same circumstances, would David’s talent and technical vocal ability outreach some of the other gifted singers that are noteworthy?

The most common would be Josh Groban and since his song “When You Say You Love Me” was such a great hit for David on the American Idol Live Tour, I thought it might be fun to compare the two. Now, fans of Josh please don’t get your dandruff up—I have always liked Josh Groban. He is a fine singer, but personally I think David is much better. Many professional voice coaches and others feel Josh’s voice has not been taken care of as it should, and that is a shame. He is a very talented man and deserves a long and happy career. He was also very young when he started singing professionally and has done very well for himself.

This is just one song and I chose David’s performance on July 8, 2009 at the Staple Center at the beginning of the Idol Tour, and not one from the end of the tour, as David definitely got better and better. This one does have a lot of emotions in it but not to influence an opinion like perhaps his performance in Salt Lake City would when we the audience made him cry.

The first video is from Josh Groban singing on his album (studio version) as opposed to David’s live version with lots of noise and screaming from fans. The two are very different versions with different quality of sound, but the important thing to listen for are EMOTIONS from the singers and how their personality is injected into a song.

David has always impressed me with such mature knowledge of music, but he also has such a natural talent on how to sing a song. No amount of instruction or voice lessons could give him the gift he owns—it could only improve his already tremendous technical ability and delivery.

Listen and decide for yourself and see if you feel the way I feel when I hear David sing this song. He takes me away on a journey only Angels know about and brings you back in his pocket. Such a beautiful ride!

Got a “Crush”? David Archuleta’s first single, “Crush,” debuted at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 the week of August 21, 2008. This was the highest debut for a song on the Hot 100 last year and the highest debut for any song on this chart since February 2007. “Crush” was a great hit for David and continues to make news. This week we had the tremendous pleasure of celebrating the 20 millionth hit of the music video of “Crush” on YouTube. The song will be covered by Chris Colfer on Fox’s new show Glee and will be on the second soundtrack of the popular show. Amazing!

The Photos of the Week are the “Crush” art covers for the digital release.

I am reviewing the photo artwork used for “Crush.” If you want to learn more about the song, please read Honeybee Katie’s excellent Song of the Week column. She has all the details about David’s first single as a solo artist.

The artwork for the U.S. release is what I call a magazine shot. It’s a candid snapshot of the smiling teen singing star.

For the UK release, “Crush” got a more street treatment with this photo of David taken in Brooklyn. Graffiti art technique in the logo matches the artwork on David’s debut album, which was released several months after “Crush.”

David Archuleta loves sneakers and this is evident in many photos. Recent events such as the ALMA Awards show give us a look of a more dressed up David with some great looking shoes. David is very fashionable, but he does like his comfort and you will always see him in some very trendy styles. The following pictures are some of my favorites and give you some insight into why sneakers are the number one shoe style with many people, especially with our David.

The sneaker shoe always ranks first in the types of various shoes list and it serves a variety of purposes. It has multiple uses as casual shoes, dance shoes and athletic shoes, irrespective of the gender. Men, women, boys, gals and kids have a huge lot of sneakers to choose and each type has its own distinguishing features. What are reasons for the sneaker shoe to gain strong momentum among the masses?

Sneaker shoes always aim at the comfort of the user and they cater to the requirements of the user to the maximum. There are a variety of styles and shades in each type of sneaker shoes. Thus, the sneaker collection allows you to pick according to your imaginations and needs. David has mentioned he loves comfort; when he was in New York a while back, he stated everyone gets dressed up there but also implied his desire for relaxed comfort. But since he does have great imagination he can express that with the type of shoes he chooses.

Best features

Sneakers have the perfect shape with the best features. They are manufactured with materials like canvas, leather and fine suede. Canvas shoes especially are made with eco-friendly materials. The hook and loop, ladder lock and the lace-up styles are used in these shoes for the best fit. The construction of the soles demand more concentration and the soles give more flexibility and durability. These features provide excellent traction for the human stride. We all know about David’s gait, remember when he walked on stage during the American Idol Finale and began to sing “Apologize”?

Athletic Sneakers

The athletic field has a close association with the sneaker. There are varieties of sneaker shoes used for tennis, basketball, and running, with top brands such as Nike, Reebok, and Adidas. The athletic shoes are very popular and they serve to enhance the players’ performance. Thus, the athletic sneakers find its part in making sports and games a more interesting show. When David is performing “Zero Gravity” on stage it reminds me of a sport and definitely makes is a better show.

Trendy pop-ups

The world of sneakers has got their new buddies in quick intervals and they keep themselves updated with the current trends. Various sneaker products find good competition among themselves with the best features and styles. Trendy pick ups are always there to accompany you in all the actions.

Satisfies people at all ages

People of all ages love sneakers and they have many choices, irrespective of gender. The kid’s shoes are so attractive, with splashing colors and eye-catchy designs, and they foster the secure steps of the toddler. Women’s shoes play an important part in adding to their style, and men’s sneakers suit them comfortably in all actions. Everyone has their favorite choice in this collection of shoes. As we recall, David loves to shop and looking for new sneakers seems to be one of his favorite activities.
