David Archuleta brings back Apologize!

There is much to debate about David Archuleta bringing back songs from last year’s American Idol tour, but I,  for one, am THRILLED that he performed Apologize at his opening concert in Hartford last night.

David, sitting at the piano alone, pouring himself into the lyric with the one of the best vocals I’ve ever heard is well worth many repeats!! I hope he keeps it in his rotation all summer. He is amazing – when did he even have time to learn the keyboard to this?

What a wonderful review of David’s concert at Del Mar! We fans may as well get used to these raves, because David Archuleta is a “force in the music world.” After this summer’s tour with Demi Lovato and the release of his sophomore album and the debut of a Christmas album this autumn, music critics and fans alike will hear that gloriously pure voice. And they will laugh and cry, their spines will tingle, and their hearts will soar. They will come to recognize and love the signature “David Archuleta sound” that he is working hard to develop.

You must read the entire review by Kelly Lin of the San Diego News Network. She sums up:

…As I left the grandstands, I noticed that around me there was not a frown in sight. David’s ability to captivate us all that night was inspiring. There is something incredibly endearing about people like David who make each performance seem like their first.

If he can keep doing that, he will be a force in the music world for many years to come.

Back from the Del Mar Concert and as you already know, David was perfection as usual.  I am giving you a fansite where they have posted many of the photos they asked me to take.  http://dafansitaly.wordpress.com/  You will see a closeup photo of David and then a continua a leggere “Foto Del Mar” – Click on that and you will see several more of the pictures I took last night. I have some others but have not had time to download to my computer.

He was so spot on last night all of you would have been so proud and he included Stand By Me, which is one of my personal favorites.  Most of these photos are up close and personal and reveals his intensity as he is singing.  Each photo is unique and gives us an insight to David’s passion for his music.  His energy and emotions during a performance capture our attention and increase our craving for the next scheduled concert.  David Archuleta is an exciting performer and will only become more seasoned with each passing moment.  Enjoy these photos!!!

David was awesome in Del Mar! He said he was excited to be there since it was the official start of the summer tour. His voice was pitch perfect and he was full of energy. He really is passionate in his singing more than ever. It was so much fun to watch. He got the whole crowd bouncing for Zero Gravity and closed with Imagine and 1000 miles. I hadn’t heard him sing Imagine in a while and it was unbelievable. They have 2 new band members there, one on guitar and one on drums.

I was laughing because all the teenage girls were begging security for David’s empty water bottles and they threw them to some very happy girls. The entire concert was amazing and David was mesmerizing!
