Chenson is a music student in London who has a website much devoted to David Archuleta.  We met in London at David’s Concert and spent some time with him and some other devoted fans.  Nesquick’s video is adorable and reflected many interesting events during the long wait for the concert and time we all spent together after meeting David.  This is just a small representation of David’s fans.  Enjoy!!

Let’s not forget that secret word…..It can’t be Rose or Rosebud…that would be young and it does smell good!!!!  I am beginning to sound like Orson Welles……are we all old enough to remember who he was?  HA! HA!

David Archuleta. Without a doubt, the biggest Idol commotion ever created at Starland belonged to David Archuleta. “Archie” visited Starland earlier this year, following a general-public onsale that saw every last ticket gobbled up in minutes. In the scalping arena, some crooks demanded more than $800 a ticket. However, come show day, the gracious singer showed his appreciation to hundreds of fans by holding an hour-long meet and greet and photo session and performing onstage for more than two hours.

David’s Christmas album should be out before Thanksgiving just in time for a month of lovely music to wrap, buy, gift, promote, and ooh and ahh over.  Baking cookies and listening to David sing Christmas songs seems to good to be true.  Can we possibly hope for more Jingle Jam Concerts or possibly a Tree Lighting Ceremony.  Ah, Christmas in June, or is it July?  Actually, one of the most popular Christmas songs was written in July in Palm Springs.   Yes I know, you are all wondering why I am so obsessed with Christmas so early, well when it comes to David and his music too early is never too early.  I am making my list and checking it twice so the number of CD’s I am ordering will be correct for all the friends, family and associates that will be receiving them as gifts.  Don’t forget the hospitals, shelters, youth centers and libraries that will benefit from such wonderful music.  Now, just as we organize the Christmas list we can then move on two his number two Album coming out after the first of the year.  So much to be grateful for in such a short period of time.  David reminds me of the energizer bunny that just keeps going and going and going.

David is writing many new songs and I sincerely hope some of these are Christmas ones.  But whatever he writes  we will be amazed and delighted with his talent and enjoy each and every phrase.  He has twittered he is taking lessons in writing and is having a lot of fun.  Looking forward to his two albums in the making.

Which songs would you like to see on his Christmas Album?

David Archuleta sings “Prayer of the Children”

Listen to David’s stirring and heartfelt performance of “Prayer of the Children” a cappella earlier this week. He attended the Children Uniting Nations gala at the State Department in Washington. His clear pure voice fills the room—and every human heart there.

David also sang “Imagine” at this gala. I hope we hear that soon! He received a standing O for his performance, sitting at a piano that once belonged to Harry S. Truman. “I have never accompanied myself on Imagine,” said David.

In D.C. to perform for Children Uniting Nations, David spoke of Christmas. Makes me feel like decorating a tree in June! And the best thing is songs written just for David. Wow! Christmas may never be the same again.

…[David] and his dad are just beginning work on a Christmas album. Jeff, who did not appear any bit of the ogre he was said to be behind the Idol curtain, is a coproducer. He said the album will include traditional songs like “Silent Night” and up to three written just for David.

When you read this quote, didn’t your mind read “Iron curtain”? I bet it did. Mine did, and I laughed when I realized the mental trick.
