David Archuleta in NYC concert: Z100 – New York’s Hit Music Station

David sang Thursday night in a small NYC venue that he said felt “like we’re in someone’s house…” Gosh! I’m getting shaky just thinking about that!

The American Idol Season 7 runner-up delivered an endearing performance to a small group of screaming fans at TriBeCa’s P.C. Richard & Son Theater in New York Thursday night, and although he’s 18 now, you’d never know it from his innocent, child-like demeanor, pleasant disposition and a personality that would have you swearing he had never uttered a curse word in his life.

Archuleta treated his doting fans like a seasoned pro would, laughing genuinely at their affections and insisting that he adored the cozy venue, telling the audience, “I feel like we’re in someone’s house or something. This is a lot more personal… I like this.”

Love the Hat

It may just be me but the Samurai Cookoff was the cutest thing David has done so far. The expressions on his face and the awkwardness were just to die for. I can only imagine what he was thinking as he was chopping up onions and when the other chef set them on fire I rolled on the floor laughing as David backed away quickly with a look of  astonishment as if he had never seen that happen before.

What makes David so cute – his ability to look so innocent when something happens,  his thoughts whirling around in his head as he  trying to do something else, or the look in his eyes saying why do they have me doing this?  No matter what he does he is the center of attention and makes me laugh at every gesture.  Love, Love, Love the Hat!!!   You can cook for me anytime!!!  Gosh what a great moment for all of us to see!!!!!

Fansites

At a brief glance on many other Fansites of David I noticed material posted about American Idol and its contestants and assured myself it was a slow day and they had nothing else to post.  After more searching of the material I realize a lot of information has been posted not always pertaining to David and his career.  Second guessing is not what I want to do, but after several discussions with other fans I am not alone in my concern that there should be more attention paid to David and promoting him instead of other artists.  Afterall they are fansites for David Archuleta.  David is a great promoter of other artists and recognizing their ability and talents and so do the rest of us, but I would like more being said about David, his talent, his upcoming album, his tour, other shows he may be on and more interest on what is next for him.  Perhaps other interviews with people that can give us more of an insight on what’s going on with David at the present time.

My idol is and always will be David Archuleta.  I want the attention brought back where it belongs.  David still needs his fans and we need David.  Please do all you can to support him — he is definitely worth working for.  Thank you to all his loyal fans who are working so hard to keep him in our hearts.
